We are now looking for an experienced Test Technician for Business Unit Power Products, Product Development.
YOUR ROLE – DUTIES
The Test Technician is a key member of the department, performing a broad range of tests and other related activities.
As Test Technician you will:
• Prepare test objects and test equipment for testing
• Define and build test rigs when required
• Check test requests to ensure that the results can be relevant and useful
• Perform and monitor tests according to an agreed specification
• Document test results in written test reports
• Pinpoint and subsequently handle potential improvements in test processes and methods
• Maintain test equipment in good working order, including relevant documentation
This position is located in Timrå and will report to the Manager Test & Analysis.
YOUR PROFILE – QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that you have a technical college degree with at least 5 years of work experience as test technician or similar. This position requires good workshop and assembly skills, such as welding, lathing and milling.
You are used to working in projects, can manage stress, have a logical and analytical way of thinking and have good business English skills. We also expect you to have good relationship management and communication skills.
