The Software development department is looking for a DevOps Engineer
The department is responsible for the development and production of software products focusing on the user in the wheelchair, the service technicians in the field and for the production of our medical devices. The products have the form of mobile applications, web portals and other types of applications.
We consist of three development teams located in Sundsvall and work in an agile environment with a continuous flow of work items from requirements to release out in the field. We have a culture that encourage openness, helping each other, team success and having fun together..
In this role you are part of our systems team for shared services in the software development department and will collaborate with other teams consisting of electronics and software development engineers. You will be responsible for system administration and management of Linux, Jira, Jenkins, Ansible, Mongo, Node.js, Apache and deployment of our products. In addition to this you will also manage the network infrastructure for our products and be responsible for automation via Ansible. You will be part of the system design of our products and maintain our public-key infrastructure.
You will be working in a medical device environment meaning that we need to be compliant with our Quality Management System as well as other applicable regulations.
- Work according to our processes, methods and instructions.
- Manage, deploy and design our system deployment solutions.
- Maintain our internal toolchain and PKI.
- Help in trouble shooting together with our engineers.
- Participate with the development of our processes and methods.
You have a university degree in science, engineering or similar work experience.
As a person you are a team-oriented problem solver, keen on learning new complex things and an attention to detail.
Good knowledge and experience with Linux, deployment, scripting and PKI is key to this position and experience working with the tools in our toolchain is an advantage,
You are fluent in oral and written English.
