IT Application operation and development eCommerce We now need to expand our team with a committed application operator and developer.
In this role you will be part of a team and work internationally with our global eCommerce systems that is currently being rolled out.

YOUR ROLE – Key responsibilities
In the role of Application operator/developer, you are part of an agile team and will provide support to the business as well as will develop and maintain web applications according to change requests. You will develop solutions within an Agile workflow.
Work is performed together with our global team of IT colleagues and our local business.
To provide the best value, you share knowledge and resources across Permobil, look for value for the business, set plans and manage them effectively, continue to learn and develop as a software engineer. You also consider the business implications in your decisions, avoid waste and challenge the use of resources and processes to maximize effectiveness.

Since our IT organization is global, travel both domestically and internationally can occur.
The position will be located in one of our offices in US or in Sweden.
YOUR PROFILE – Qualifications
As an Application developer you work both independently and in teams across the organization with a business-driven mindset. You can work proactively with energy and determination to push your assignments towards their objectives.
You have a good sense of structure, logic and quality and understands the importance of - and have the ability to work with – knowledge sharing, best practices and continuous improvements.
You are able to identify a vision along with plans which need to be implemented to meet the end goal, evaluating situations, decisions and issues in the short, medium and long term.
You are curious about technology and have a deep knowledge about system development. As a person, you are also innovative and have a clear initiative ability.
You also have experience in:
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Complex and integrated IT environments in global organizations
- Cloud based IT environments such as Microsoft Azure
- Basic knowledge of Azure API management
- Using version control software, preferably Git paired with Azure DevOps
- Writing unit tests
- Familiar with automation testing, build, and CD/CI concepts
- You master English in speech and writing, if stationed in Sweden also Swedish
- Four-year College Degree, BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred) OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
